My name is Ed Nissen. I am an executive coach, but you may consider me a “Purpose Coach” because I specialize in empowering people to be the ultimate version of themselves by having a deepened sense of purpose, which allows us to carry out the most meaningful professional roles. I do this by simplifying the approach to life’s obstacles based on a model that teaches people how to respond to such obstacles efficiently and confidently. More specifically, this approach involves understanding your personality and optimizing the way you make meaning in your life. This will enable you to shift your focus to maximizing your potential in all aspects of your life.
I also happen to be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and my clinical experience gives me a unique perspective on the human experience. As I teach you my approach, not only will you become skilled in overcoming professional and personal challenges, you will refine yourself in ways that transform your life and enable you to reach your potential.

Coaching can help with improving yourself in just about every respect. It can inject order into your life as you are trying to navigate the complexities of the world. However, it is important that it be the appropriate order. While coaching may alleviate feelings of being lost in your career, relationships, and social life, many solutions offered in coaching only temporarily do so, often failing to impart useful knowledge that leads to implementable actions, which, in turn, sustain a meaningful life. Therefore, I aim to deliver a sustainable process that produces meaningful work.
There are many remarkable coaches and I am fortunate to know some of them. What I offer is unique in the sense that I have many profound experiences in my personal life that have shaped me over the last 30 years coupled with particular professional experiences that have refined my methods of helping people sort out their lives, find meaning, and begin discovering a deeper sense of purpose. I have designed two separate programs based on levels of intensity and primary area of developmental needs: individuals who are ready to elevate themselves; or teams who are primed for a deeper optimization of their collective performance.
