My name is Ed and I'm a Purpose Enthusiast

My name is Ed Nissen. I have an unquenchable thirst for truth and a determination to speak it. The problem is that I don't know what I'm talking about most of the time. That really causes issues when I'm taking on the task of finding solutions to problems that are beyond my capacity to comprehend. In a sense, I think it is because it is meaningful, for it seems bring forth a perception of the value the present holds. Furthermore, it inspires me to take that value and try to make a better future, and in that regard, I derive a sense of purpose from it.

There is a lot swirling around in my head most of the time. Therefore, I write my thoughts out as notes. Sometime those turn into insightful little essays, if you will. Perhaps, I should call them musings. Either way, I figured I'd compile those writings in a place that accessible. It has occurred to me that, if I believe in speaking the truth, within my capacity to know the truth, then I must do so with integrity, and that means giving those thoughts in my head aa voice. I'm not sure how much truth lies in my writings, but I figured that not entirely up to me to declare. If there is light for some in them then it will have been worth it. If it leads to a profound impact on the world, so be it.
